Here's how it works: If you are an Indian Resident who is 13 years or above, you can help Samsung break the world record for the most artists contributing to a single art piece. The current world record holder is Great Britain with 201,958 contributions. The initiative is being overseen by the Guinness Book of World Records. The Incredible Art Piece page shows a rectangular grid- you'll see some little thumbnail pics in there already, move your cursor over them to enlarge and you'll see other contributors works of art. All you have to to is click anywhere you like on the grid - thats where you finished piece will go - then you'll be asked for your name and mobile phone number. Next is the screen where you get to create your piece of art - a simple but good paint app - where your can paint, add text, backgrounds or clipart. The app encourages you to pick India as the theme for your picture. Then let your creative juices flow. Rahul Saighal, chief marketing officer, Samsung India, has said, "This is an innovative way of bringing Indian together. They create a piece of art and upload it digitally. Galaxy Note II was an inspiration for such an event because its tagline goes 'incredibly creative'. Galaxy Note II is an exciting device and its all about creativity and multi-functionality. Samsung invites Indians to immortalise their creations in the form of Guinness World Records achievement. The final installation will be put together by the artist duo of Thukral and Tagra." The launch in New Delhi featured Bollywood actress Genelia D'Souza and the above named artist duo. You can visit www.samsung.com or Samsung Facebook page to enter.
