The previous generation Nexus 7 with a powerful hardware and affordable price tag, revolutionised the smaller tablet market. It took some time before other players - mainly Amazon and Apple could come up with devices that could compete with the Nexus 7. Google is in no mood to let the rival manufacturers get comfortable and has released much improved 2nd generation Nexus 7, to stay in the lead. |
OpenOffice 4.0 released, introduces sidebar interface Posted: 24 Jul 2013 11:23 AM PDT Apache Software Foundation has released OpenOffice 4.0 which brings significant changes to the user interface and compatibility with Microsoft Office documents. The new version of OpenOffice, has introduced a new sidebar, designed to take advantage of widescreen monitors. The side bar has been taken from IBM's Lotus Symphony office Suite, which was a fork of OpenOffice. |
