Austin, Texas, gets 100 times faster Google Fiber broadband Posted: 09 Apr 2013 10:03 AM PDT After Kansas, Google is now bringing it's super-fast 'gigabit Internet' to Austin, Texas. Google will start connecting homes in Austin by 2014 and will offer packages similar to those it offers in Kansas. Google currently offers Gigabit Internet or Gigabit Internet plus the Google Fiber TV service with nearly 200 HD TV channels and will also offer 'free of cost' Internet as long as the customers pay a one tine installation fee. Google will also be connecting many public installation such as schools, hospitals and community centers for free of cost. |
